Special Class

(such membership must be approved by the Board of Directors)

Faculty – limited to members who serve on the faculty at a school of optometry.

Privileged – limited to members, who through sickness, age or financial hardship, are unable to pay full dues.

Federal Service – limited to members who are on fulltime active duty in the armed forces of the United States.

Associate – limited to optometrist not licensed to practice and not engaged directly in Mississippi.

Honorary – limited to members who have contributed outstanding aid to the public’s safety or welfare or to the profession of optometry.

Life – limited to optometrist who have been members of MOA for a significant period of time and have retired or are permanently disabled and no longer practicing optometry.

Affiliate – limited to optometrist who are a member of AOA and an affiliate association.
